What About Me?

My name is Sophie, but I predominately go by Sohf. My pronouns are she/her and I'm best described as a seeker. One who romanticizes singular mastery, but is driven by discovery. The domain of disciplines that I invoke is both broad and deep.

The subject matter in my work is often surreal, erotic, grotesque, and cute! In respect to painting, I'm partial to the craft being plainly visible. In my own work that means; confident and discernible brush work, a smidge of texture, and the occasional hard or lost edge amongst blended forms.
